best friend

This is my good friend that I spend lots of time with during the week; usually at her house. Today she came over to my house to have a look at some of my toys and review some of my reading material. I was wondering if I should call this entry 'my best friend' or not because I don't really have tons of other friends yet for comparison. Let's see, we spend lots of time together, share our toys, eat meals together, sometimes are mean to each other, and make each other cry a lot. Yep, I guess she is my best friend. I have to refrain from using her name since her parents probably don't want her to be famous yet.

I have updated by after bath routine and thought you should know that I don't ride my zebra toy naked anymore. I have found better things to do with my time, and it wasn't the safest hobby a kid could have. I much prefer standing in the sink and making myself laugh in the mirror. Of course I still do some pre-bath streaking, but after the bath it is straight to the mirror.

It would appear to be bedtime already. Bye.

GO PATS!

crisis of faith

I'm having a crisis of faith. Oh no, not a crisis of faith in spiritual matters. While that is sure to come someday, hopefully not till I'm older. You know, whether or not this 'winter' that I've heard so much about actually exists. Anyway, back to business. Look at me here, outside practicing with my snow shovel, without even a single item of protective outerwear. It's January and The last time it snowed, if I'm to believe the reports, I was too little to really appreciate it. So until we get some snow, I'll be out back here practicing shoveling with these white pebbles.

On another note, I see both grandmothers are back commenting again. Nice to see you here.

That's all for now. It's bathtime and nothing gets in between my bath and me.

See ya.

still fixin' stuff

I'm back from my new year's celebrations in New York. Not the big apple New York, but close enough for this kid. All in all a good trip, especially when you consider the fact that I woke up at midnight-ish on New Year's eve/day and never went back to sleep. at all. I really feel like I bonded with my mom and dad. They don't share my enthusiasm for the experience. I vaguely remember them discussing it as I slept the whole way home in the car. They seem to have gotten over it though.

Anyway, back to business. Quite frankly, I expected a little better response to my generous offer (see my last post if you need a refresher) to fix any of your broken stuff. In the meantime I will be just here fixing the same old stuff over and over and over again. How many things can a kid with his hammer and his drill thingie fix before he needs some real projects?

Help me out, would ya? Some of you may even qualify for the family discount.
