welcome back pedro

I don't know much about much yet, but I think this is how you welcome back one of the greatest pitchers in history to your city.

BOSTON -- The wrapped bottle of Cristal champagne was sitting in his new chair. A case of his country's Presidente beer was nearby on the floor with a card on top from Jason Varitek addressed to "Petey." Tommy McLaughlin, the visitors' clubhouse manager at Fenway Park, made sure to give him the "Cal Ripken" locker in the cramped clubhouse, with two empty stalls nearby. And, as a final welcoming act, McLaughlin made sure to stock up on Dominican food.

finally

well we finally got our internet service back, but we have a lot of catching up to do picture-wise, so there won't be very much chit chat on this post. On to the pictures.

not a very passive stroller passenger

I sometimes carry this picture around because it's of two of my favorite girls.

here we're trying to prevent another "long, crabby" day on the boat by "getting me used to the life jacket" I think this was my papa's great idea

here my mom is wearing her silly hat in order to get me to wear mine. Oh, forget I said that, apparantly she is not wearing a silly hat, it's her "cute new boat hat." sorry.

getting the hang of the boat. almost ready to drive.

Though I am still being adorable and charming, you would never know it as our DSL connection is still not connected. Should be soon though...

downtime

I would love to be providing all of you with my usual, somewhat regular update of funny stories. However, we lost our internet connection last week. Our generous, if not odd neighbors moved out recently and now we actually have to go out and pay for our internet again. So that will take some time. In the meantime, not to worry, I will refrain from doing anything cute or milestone related until such time that I can report it here. . . hopefully next week.
